$ grep '0.10' configure.ac
[PKG_CHECK_MODULES(GST, gstreamer-0.10 gstreamer-base-0.10 gstreamer-app-0.10 gstreamer-audio-0.10, [have_gst=yes], [have_gst=no])],

I think it is not a bug.

Maybe i'm wrong but is GST not the shortform for gstreamer 1.x? So if gstreamer 1.x is installed, than it is ok for spice-gtk

configure fails if there is no gstreamer 0.10 installed. Did you try to build it without gstreamer 0.10?

No i didn't. To be honest, i'm just an normal user who tries to get rid of old packages. But it seems that, like in this case, upstream is still working with old versions of software. This is not meant as an offence.
