DetailsDescription: glibc package has an obsolete file called by locale-gen script.
Additional info: * package version(s) glibc 2.9.15-5 * config and/or log files etc. The script /usr/bin/locale-gen call at line 39, localedef with "-A /usr/share/locale/locale.alias" argument. You can see in the /usr/share/locale/locale.alias file, that this file is obsolete, and the -A argument is useless today. # Note: This file is obsolete and is kept around for the time being for # backward compatibility. Nobody should rely on the names defined here. # Locales should always be specified by their full name. |

I will keep it in there until glibc officially drops it.
