DetailsVisit http://people.ubuntu.com/~apachelogger/html5/ with your favorite qt5-webkit browser, such as qupzilla from [community]; as you can see, that webpage contains two video elements, an ogv and a webm. The ogv plays flawlessly, but the webm fails to play.
This issue affects all webm video elements I've seen (multiple websites) and all qt5-webkit browser I've tested (that's two). Is there a fundamental obstruction to have webm support in qt5-webkit? Or can we do something packaging-wise? |
