Description:
mplayer is unable to open https streams, the feature is just not implemented. It could open them through ffmpeg, with something like: mplayer ffmptg://https://secure.site/stream but the "builtin" ffmpeg needs to be built with openssl/gnutls support. Could this be done, please? The switch would be --enable-gnutls and/or --enable-openssl (not sure) ffmpeg in [extra] seems to be compiled that way. |
