Description:
If a ifname with more than 13 characters is given the dhcpd can't reply on this interface. Printing a log-message like this: Aug 18 13:53:31 dhcpd[1715]: dhcp.c:3585: Failed to send 300 byte long packet over *ifname* interface. Aug 18 13:53:31 dhcpd[1715]: send_packet: No such device Additional info: * package version(s) 4.3.0-1 |

Have you reported this upstream? I can't see how this could be a
packaging problem.
Wanted your advice if I should report this to upstream. Could be
arch-linux depended.
