for acpi error need install (and run daemon) acpid from [community]

is not a fatal error. you can run X without this
Comment by Jan de Groot (JGC) - Thursday, 14 August 2014, 07:40 GMT
Open ACPI failed: X.org can connect to acpid, but doesn't need to. You don't need acpid.
xf86EnableIOPorts: X.org does this on startup in case a driver needs it. It fails because X runs unprivileged. The intel driver doesn't need this.
/dev/fb0: intel driver doens't need that, you don't have permission because of unprivileged mode
old probe methods: has been around for years
VGA arbiter: probably because of unprivileged mode

Only error that makes any sense in your bugreport is the error about backlight support.

How's status with recent LTS and stock kernel 3.17 currently in testing?
Comment by jb (jb.1234abcd) - Sunday, 12 October 2014, 22:09 GMT
testing/linux 3.17-2 is OK (both errors, backlight and seg fault, are gone) - tested 5 runs.

Just wondering if this line should be (EE):
[ 988.516] (EE) Server terminated successfully (0). Closing log file.
