Description:

My work is using sssd for LDAP authentication and automount maps. RIght now, the autofs package on archlinux is missing the lookup_sss.so file, which allows sss to do automounting. However, if I rebuild autofs from source after sss is installed, the configure script correctly builds the lookup_sss.so file. It would be great if this file were included by default in the binary package. I guess this would mean adding sss as a supported package (it's in the AUR right now), and including it as a makedepends and an optional dependency.

Additional info:
* autofs 5.1.0

I may be interested in maintaining sssd in community.
I am using it in my office and I find it great!

I'll take a better look at the package.

sssd-1.12.0-4 is now in [community].
I don't know anything about autofs but I guess it can be rebuilt now.
