Description:
After upgrade network-manager-applet to version 0.9.10.0-2
nm-applet crashes immediately after connection.

Additional info:
* package version(s) --- network-manager-applet 0.9.10.0-2 and mate-desktop 1.8.1-1

Is this still an issue with current packages? AFAIK the libnm-glib CRITICAL message is not CRITICAL, nm-applet still works with that (bugreports about it don't include crashes).
The get_icon assertion could be critical, but without a backtrace we can't say anything about this. If the missing icon is critical, this should be fixed now, as the required icons are in adwaita-icon-theme, which is a dependency for gtk3 these days.
