Description:
Typically in arch, the repos will house the latest stable version of an app. Unfortunately, libreoffice has taken on some bad names (libreoffice-still doesn't make any sense in english, and libreoffice-fresh just as bad). If I was a user who didn't know any better, -fresh sounds more modern, and the one that I should have choose looking at the two. There should only be one set, and only shipping a version that is STABLE for users. If .0 releases aren't as stable as point releases, it should sit in testing until .1 arrives. It shouldn't be more complicated than that. |
