DetailsDescription:
Packages uploaded to the AUR must have directory permissions 755 and file permissions 644. mkaurball does not ensure that these permissions are set and instead assumes a umask of 0022. This can require that package maintainers manually change their umask when updating AUR packages. Steps to reproduce: 1. Get a PKGBUILD 2. $ umask 0002 3. $ mkaurball 4. $ tar -tvf package.src.tar.gz 5. The package directory will have the incorrect permissions 775 |
