DOSBox unnecessarily disables its OpenGL output in certain (most?) DOS video modes. For me, OpenGL output is a very desirable feature, since it's the only way to get decent video scaling without going to fullscreen and changing the X11 video mode (which has its own bugs). There's a patch on the upstream bug tracker, which I've been using with no problems: https://sourceforge.net/p/dosbox/bugs/385/ Additional info: * package version(s) dosbox 0.74-6 Steps to reproduce: Add the following in dosbox-0.74.conf: fullscreen=true fullresolution=1366x768 (replace with native screen resolution) output=opengl Run DOSBox and note that the output (even in the default text mode) is centered, not scaled up to the full size of the screen. |

Patching for feature addition is not the philosophy of Arch Linux. Try to convince upstream to implement the patch or feel free to create a new dosbox opengl enabled package in AUR under some recognizable name.
