Description:
Xorg is not starting on my old laptop with an Mobility Radeon X700. I believe this problem started with versions 1:7.4.x
Before I was downgrading the package to version 1:7.3.0-1, but now I can't because of glamor-egl dependency.
This is my result from an lspci | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] RV410/M26 [Mobility Radeon X700]

I thing the problem is here (from Xorg.0.log):
Failed to link: error: shader uses too many input components (44 > 40)

Additional info:
* xf86-video-ati 1:7.4.x
* attached Xorg.0.log

Steps to reproduce:
Start computer

This is my first bug report. I hope I'm doing it right.
Thank you very much, and sorry for bothering you with a so old hardware.

The problem is AccelMethod Glamor in your configuration. Older versions have a hardcoded check that disables Glamor for your hardware, but newer versions allow the user to configure it anyways. Your logfile contains a warning about this, but you didn't read it.
