Description:
cannot add movies to the video sequencer in blender. i tried the binary version and it worked.

2.71-1

* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
open blender
go to sequencer
try to add a video

I strongly suspect an ffmpeg problem of some sort. This stuff is usually hard to figure out. Do all video formats fail?

Ran in to the same issue. Compiled from latest ABS. Compiled version imports movies without issue.

Reverted back to [community] package and movies (all formats) failed to import.

Version from staging should work. Will be moved with boost 1.56.
