I'm not a user of this package, but your reply seems to have nothing to do with the problem here. The config you ship is being taken as something of a "sane default", and it's clear from this bug report that it's not meant to be. Maybe you can clarify your own config rather than pointing to the underlying mechanics that your software tries to abstract away?
I added link to simplify tracking issue on github and bugs.archlinux.org
Config file has explain of this behavior:
# zram[streams]=${sys[cpu_count]} # Zram compression streams count
# # /sys/block/zram*/max_comp_streams
# # One -> using one core, more -> more core.
I don't want to copy/paste any additional information from config.
if you can propose more user-friendly explanation, suggest it.
I think that explanation in config and description for zram in kernel is enough for end user.
If end user want to know more -> this is an open source project, try to open source code.
I do not want to be rude, just quote seems me relevant.
There's a good quote on <bash.im>. It's about open source, i can't find english equivalent and i will try to translate this:
"If you see a man without pants, make pants for him.
if you can't make pants, say where he can buy pants.
if you can't say where he can buy pants, tell him that he without pants.
if you don't want to say this, it's enough to stare at someone's naked ass".
Can you post the configuration you're using?

Not a problem. Config file in attach. (if you address your message to me)
