This task depends upon
Most likely it's a library that you've built locally (like from the AUR) that emacs links to, which is then linked to libgif.so.6.
Edit: i686 version is also correctly linked to libgif.so.7.
Guess I have to reinstall my system.
This bug can be closed then.
