Description:

With a haswell chipset (I don't have anything else to test on), when enabling vaapi, xbmc hangs whenever playing a HD video, when stopping the video or exiting.

Tested on 13.1-3.

Just adding a --disable-ffmpeg in the PKGBUILD solved the issue. I could not remove the patch though: xbmc wouldn't compile...

I don't know if this qualifies as a bug, but xbmc isn't supported as is, and they won't take a bugreport on this, as you can see :)
