Details
it seems that mp4v2 (now called libmp4v2 in the
distribution) isn't only a library, but the package contains
several binaries. The lib prefix feels a bit misleading
somehow and isn't being used upstream either. I suggest
renaming the package to mp4v2 and add provides=('libmp4v2')
to the PKGBUILD in the process.

Debian/Ubuntu and Fedora also call the library libmp4v2 (the same
thing we are using). Recommending this ticket be closed as it is
still primarily a library even though it does include some
binaries.
Actually it seems Debian splits this package between utils and
libs. Lets leave this for the maintainer to decide/deal with.
