Elasticsearch refuse to start out-of-the-box as /var/log/elasticsearch and /var/lib/elasticsearch directories do not exist. I think elastichsearch.install script should create theses directories and chown them to elasticsearch:elasticsearch. Additional info: * package version: 1.2.2-2 * config: not modified Steps to reproduce: pacman -S elasticsearch && systemctl start elasticsearch on a new installed Arch (without /var/log/elasticsearch & /var/lib/elasticsearch) |
