DetailsDescription:
Okular should be able to save the annotations into a pdf straight, but it is not possible at the moment. The only possible way to do it was to export the file as a document archive and then rename the file as a zip and extract the zip with simple unzip command. Then the pdf inside the resultant folder (i.e. contents of the document archive) actually had the annotations in the actual pdf. If I have time, I will upload the example files, but I believe this to be a file saving bug as the sizes of the pdf files by using the two methods are different (the one with missing annotations is smaller). Additional info: * package version: 4.13.3 Steps to reproduce: * Open a pdf file, annotate it, send to a different computer, open it and see missing annotations. * Save the file as an document archive, send it to another computer, extract the archive with unzip and see the annotations. |

This is intended behavior, annotations are not saved to the original pdf, you have to save a copy (File -> save as...)

Yes, I was doing save as, in order to save the annotations, but they would only be visible on the original computer, where the annotations have been created. Is there a KDE configure option to switch the behaviour?
