DetailsDescription:
When I recently upgraded to xorg-server-1.16.0-2 I got asked to replace glamor-egl with testing/xorg-server. After the next system reboot the kde/x-windows system was basically unuseable. Even typing in a Kterminal has a 10 seconds delay till the letters appear. If I type blindly and hit return the command is immediately executed however, just the result is only shown later. Interestingly the delay can be shortened to about 3s by moving the mouse fast over the terminal window. Similar issues also when clicking windows - long delay despite action occurring immediately but unseen. A downgrade to xorg-server-1.15.2-1, which reinstalls glamor-egl, fixes the problem. Additional info: affected versions: xorg-server-1.16.0-2 further package versions: linux-3.15.1-1-i686 or linux-3.15.6-1-i686 both tested / no influence mesa-10.2.4-1 mesa-libgl-10.2.4-1 xf86-video-intel-2.99.912-3 xf86-input-evdev-2.9.0-2 Hardware: Asus EeePc1000H Steps to reproduce: Update to xorg-server-1.16.0-2 and replace glamor-egl by testing/xorg-server |
