This request was first made via personal email. In my reply I indicated that to enable this libcue must be made a hard dependency of cmus.

Given that cmus has existed in the repos for years without this feature enabled, there does not seem to be very much interest in it and I am inclined to leave it up to users to enabled it via ABS.

At the same time, libcue is only 56 KiB so it hardly makes a difference.

I'll leave the task open for a while for comments.

Thank you for the response.

Your comment seems to imply that I sent an email regarding this issue, but I did not.

At least two users have gone on record to request CUE support. I believe they outnumber the users that would go on record to complain about potentially losing 56 KiB of disk space.

Furthermore, cmus lists CUE support as one of its core features (https://cmus.github.io/#features). By disabling CUE support, Arch removes this feature. The question is not how much interest is in CUE support but why CUE support was removed in the first place.

In my reply I suggested opening a ticket if the user felt the issue was worth pursuing. Obviously I jumped to a conclusion without comparing the names.

The listing of CUE sheet support on the feature list is enough to convince me that it should be included, which I have now done.
