Description:
Rotating screen via XRandR causes X Sever to crash and restart - returning user to login manager.

Apologies. This was caused by having the following in my /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf

Section "Device"
Identifier "Intel Graphics"
Driver "intel"
Option "TearFree" "true"
EndSection



Rotation works with this file removed.

Installing `xf86-video-intel-git` from AUR permitted the use of TearFree (my config above) with all of the packages listed above AND rotation.
