Details

Both the host and the lxc client are running Arch Linux with the latest updates.

lxc version is 1:1.0.5-1 on the host.
systemd version is 215-4 on both host and client

To reproduce:

(1) Type in 'lxc-console -n [utsname]' while logged in as 'root'.

No login prompt will be presented. Hitting [Enter] will not cause login prompt to appear.

Login prompt worked earlier before performing 'pacman -Syu' in the client, which did the following upgrades:

Went back and manually downgraded each of these packages on the client, but that did not seem to resolve the problem.

did you try
lxc-console -n name -t 0
?
Comment by Marat Nepomnyashy (maratbn) - Wednesday, 16 July 2014, 18:00 GMT
The command 'lxc-console -n name -t 0' worked before the upgrade on the client, but after the upgrade just emits the error message "lxc_container: console 0 invalid, busy or all consoles busy" and exits.

can it be reproduced with lxc 1:1.1.1-1 ?
