Description:
On starting Eclipse, the splash screen is displayed for a few seconds, then is replaced with an error dialog with the message: An error has occurred. See the log file
/home/user/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_4.4.0_1543616141_linux_gtk_x86_64/configuration/1405441278192.log.

Additional info:
* Eclipse version 4.4.0-2
* I removed all eclipse plugins and reinstalled Eclipse, it still did not work. When I downloaded Eclipse from eclipse.org, it ran fine.

Also not sure if this is relevant, but I am using KDE 4.13.2.
