The arch kernel is patched with a custom dsdt patch. Its usage is "initrd=DSDT.aml" in menu.lst, which now conflicts with the "initrd /initrd26.img". Would it be possible to add a DSDT field in the mkinitrd script to allow users to continue using their custom DSDT's?

to enable this again we need to move to initramfs the new patches only work with initramfs.
