Detailssystemd now installs "/usr/lib/systemd/ntp-units.d/90-systemd.list", which is meant to have _lowest_ priority, but since it's the only dropin with a numeric prefix, it gets sorted asciibetically _before_ "chrony.list".
This package should install "10-${pkgname}.list" or "40-${pkgname}.list" instead, to get higher priority than systemd-timesyncd. (I think it should have higher priority than "##-ntp.list", by the way, as some people install chrony as the main daemon and ntp just for the management tools.) |
