I think the package needs rebuild. When I execute the latest version (0.48.4-16), it fails to open with the following error:

inkscape: error while loading shared libraries: libMagick++-6.Q16HDRI.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Can somebody else confirm the bug?

Also, notice that maybe this fix will be useless, because Inkscape 0.48.5 is ready[1] (it only lacks proper announcing).

Sorry for the title. I'd like to fix it, but I don't find an "edit" button.

Nope. This is what I get when I check the linking of inkscape 0.48.4-16

% objdump -p inkscape | grep libMagick
NEEDED libMagick++-6.Q16HDRI.so.4

Edit: Ok, the i686 version needs rebuilt. The x86_64 version is fine.

That's very strange: I always build my packages in pairs. The only explanation I can think of is that imagemagick-i686 was not in [staging] when I did the rebuild... Anyway, I'll do another rebuild.
