DetailsDescription:
There are 200 source plug-ins coming from 10 source features included in this package, which are not needed for a normal release version of Eclipse. In my opinion only the source feature org.eclipse.platform.source is interesting for an OSGI developer and the source features * org.eclipse.pde.source * org.eclipse.rcp.source * org.eclipse.e4.rcp are interesting for an RCP developer. Please think about creating separate Arch Linux packages for these use cases. E.g. a C/C++ developer using the eclipse-cdt package do not need these source features. Please add the following function to the PKGBUILD file to remove all source plug-ins and source features: ~~~ # remove source features and plug-ins prepare() { rm eclipse/features/*.source_* rm eclipse/plugins/*.source_* } ~~~ Additional info: * package version 4.3.2-2 Steps to reproduce: See files in folder /usr/share/eclipse/{plugins|features} |
