Out of some reason Steam immediatly crashes the X server when attempting to start steam.

I am using linux 3.15-1 with AMD R7 260x, didn't test on linux 3.14, but it never happened to me before...

Any idea what is responsible for this? Other games work without any issues.

Not sure is this a driver or just a Steam issue? (radeon drivers here)

That looks like a driver issue, did you reboot after the update to kernel 3.15?

I guess you did if other games are working and you can start X.

Have you checked upstream, because it isn't really a packaging issue.

Please report it to their github
