On a new install with xorg 7 aterm (and rxvt, which aterm is based upon) exits with a code presumed to be related to the new modular xorg:
aterm: can't load color "White", colorID = 0, (29)
aterm: can't load color "White", colorID = 0, (29)
aterm: aborting

Fails with the package from current and also from abs

Also Eterm fails with a "can't find libttf" error on same system

Check your xorg.conf for rgbpath.

xorg.conf generated by xorgconfig lists:

RgbPath "/usr/lib/X11/rgb"

in the file but the default xorg7 installation does not include /usr/lib/X11/rgb -- the directory doesn't exist or isn't created during the installation.

it should be /usr/share/X11/rgb, how did X even start if this was wrong?

Aterm starts with RgbPath "/usr/share/X11/rgb" -- I'm assuming X started because I was using GDM/Gnome (gnome-terminal worked without to proper rgb settings). However this reveals that xorgconfig isn't generating the right file with the new modular system. Also, xorgcfg just doesn't work at all, making it difficult to configure X properly without a prior file.

FYI, I always use "X -configure"

Assigning to Jan because xorgconfig is "broken"
