Description:

mpd added a plugin to use upnp as source since version 0.18.10, it wasn't mentioned in the changelog altough it's present in the documentation ( http://www.musicpd.org/doc/user/ch05.html#idp55158784 ) and the sources, mpd's buildsystem automatically detects the presence of libupnp and will opt it out transparently, which is why I guess it went unnoticed, it'd be nice if the default package would include it

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.

Running `grep -r -i pnp` on the sources of mpd-0.8.11 gives nothing...

It's been in git since at least January it seems, but it's not in the release. I don't know how mpd makes releases tho.

I suggest you first convince upstream to make UPNP support part of the release, and then I'll be happy to enable it in our package. Cheers.

upstream included the plugin in the release 0.19's source package
