Hi
The default lirc.service isn't optimal. It forces the user to use a driver and device path, or to modify the file in /etc/systemd/. I suggest something like this : lirc.service ------------ [Unit] Description=Linux Infrared Remote Control After=network.target [Service] Type=simple PIDFile=/run/lirc/lircd.pid RuntimeDirectory=lirc EnvironmentFile=/etc/conf.d/lircd ExecStart=/usr/bin/lircd --driver=${LIRC_DRIVER} --device=${LIRC_DEVICE} --nodaemon ${LIRC_EXTRAOPTS} [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.target /etc/conf.d/lircd ----------------- # # Parameters for lirc daemon # LIRC_DEVICE="/dev/usb/hiddev0" LIRC_DRIVER="macmini" LIRC_EXTRAOPTS="" |
