DetailsThe developer of this software doesn't seem to reply to emails. It's been over 1 year since version 0.50 was released.
His Git repository: https://github.com/Maato/volumeicon has been updated with a few minor fixes, last commit in March 2014. I'm sure many Arch linux users will be using the version in the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/volumeicon-git/ So with no reported issues on that - would it be possible take a snapshot of the current git version to use instead of the old 0.5 release? The only reason I request this, is that he has added the option to change which Alsa device you control in the preferences. That was a major functionality oversight in this version. |

Hi! Thanks for reporting. I agree that using the git version (with a specific commit) sounds like a better idea than the current situation. Will implement the proposed changes.

Updated to the latest git commit (specifically). The updated package should appear in [community] shortly.
