The upgrade from twisted-13.2.0-1 to python2-twisted-14.0.0-1 (which conflicts with twisted<=14.0.0 and replaces it) fails (I'm using --asdeps because twisted is installed on my system as a dependency): [ugi@UGI ~]$ LANG=C sudo pacman -S python2-twisted --asdeps resolving dependencies... looking for inter-conflicts... :: python2-twisted and twisted are in conflict. Not really a packaging error, as the file isn't tracked by pacman. What looks like an error to me is the location of the file. "Tracked" upstream at https://twistedmatrix.com/trac/ticket/3348
