Description:

percona-server conflicts with mysql, percona-server-clients conflicts with mysql-clients, but libperconaserverclient does not conflict with libmysqlclient. I think this is wrong and libperconaserverclient should conflict with libmysqlclient, too.

Additional info:
* package version(s): 5.6.17_65.0-1

Steps to reproduce:

Install mariadb, mariadb-clients and libmariadbclient from official repos. Then do

pacman -S percona-server

You can see libmariadbclient is not about to be removed.

It is not supposed to replace libmariadbclient which is required for all the other packages directly linked to it. libperconaserverclient does not provide the same ABI and in fact it is installed in a different location (libperconaserverclient.so vs libmysqlclient.so).
