Details

Switch Pager Options->Background->Desktop Wallpaper. After changing the desktop background to another picture the most left window in the pager doesn't updates the background: http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/8691/pagererror9ob.jpg and http://img50.imageshack.us/img50/8950/pagererror28xw.jpg

Changing the number of desktops (e.g. 6 to 8) leads to 6 grey and 2 windows with appropriate background: http://img56.imageshack.us/img56/6342/pagererror37iu.jpg
I already tried a new user, removing .kde and .kderc. Also reinstalled kdebase und kdelibs.

to me this sounds like an upstream issue and not a package issue itselt, please report this on http://bugs.kde.org

Yepp, your were right. Finally found the bug on kde.bugs. Sorry, I always used the simple search on kde bugs and it didn't show up there.
