When upgrading extra/git on the machine where aur/git-subtree is installed upgrading fails. $ sudo pacman -S git Packages (1): git-1.9.3-1 error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) git: /usr/lib/git-core/git-subtree exists in filesystem git: /usr/share/man/man1/git-subtree.1.gz exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. $ sudo pacman -Rs git-subtree Packages (1): git-subtree-1.9.1-1 (1/1) removing git-subtree $ sudo pacman -S git Packages (1): git-1.9.3-1 (1/1) upgrading git |
