Description:
I have a (mainly caching) DNS server that has been running fine for some time.
Recently, however, although the named service starts successfully, it dies shortly afterwards (from what I could gather, on the first client request).

Additional info:
* package version(s): bind 9.10.0.P1-2
* config and/or log files etc.: please see attached the output given by named when running in the foreground.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start the named service (for troubleshooting purposes, I run it in the foreground).
2. Make one or two DNS resolution requests from a client.
3. named process exists with "mem.c:1298: REQUIRE(ptr != ((void *)0)) failed, back trace" message.
