Why should I move them outside /usr/share/icons? Cursors are icons too, but they belong to your mouse. I would have to patch up libXcursor to look in other locations. The default is /usr/share/icons, so I want to keep it there.

Re-opened by Moo-Crumpus:

well. cursors are spezail icons. In gnome-themes-manager it is a mess - you can't differ between icon or mouse themes. So I would again ask for a seperation. If it is very hard to do that, I'll learn to live with that. I know gnome is no major arch de.

These cursor themes don't show up in my gnome-theme-manager. Every other distro that ships Xorg7 ships these things in /usr/share/icons, where they belong. This is not a bug, so I won't fix it.
