I reported this while QEMU2 was in "testing"... but nobody seems to have actioned it, and my bug report isn't showing under this package now for some reason.

It's a very basic patch to Seabios that is *required* for this software to work properly for old operating systems.

Can you "fix" the other one then so it actually shows up as a bug for QEMU please?
That's the only reason I felt it had to be re-posted.
