I use openbox, but have GTK2, GTK3, Qt, and many other libraries installed.
It looks however, gnote is missing some part of gnome desktop (possibly 'gsettings-desktop-schemas'?)

# pacman -S gnote
$ gnote

(gnote:6934): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.desktop.interface' is not installed

Can you please provide an update as to the current status of this problem? Also you did not mention whether installing gsettings-desktop-schemas affected whether the error showed up. If it is still occurring please check this.
I was able to install the current version of gnote and it ran without error, though I do have gsettings-desktop-schemas installed. Waiting for your response. Thanks!
