Description:

Using the current "unrar" (5.1.2-1) and "xarchiver" (0.5.3-1), if a RAR file contains spaces in its contents, that file, or sometimes all files do not display, and cannot be extracted.

I have attached a screenshot showing the actual contents of a test archive (in the terminal window), and the result in xarchiver.


Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a few dummy files (at least one with spaces in it's name) and add them to a RAR archive.
2. Open with xarchiver.

Also, still the same with a manually compiled unrar latest version 5.1.4

It's an upstream bug, please report it to the upstream developers:

It looks like it's not being maintained - 49 open bug tickets and the closed tickets are from 2006-2008 :(

Confirmed that patch works and should be applied to this package if upstream is dead
The same person has fixed some other issues as well, they are combined here (but doesn't include the RAR patch):
