Detailsnotably Qt4 and mariadb are broken if compiled with gcc 4.9
Qt4 produces a libQtScript.so that crashes. According to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1091482 the patch here http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=60965 >> http://gcc.gnu.org/viewcvs/gcc?view=revision&revision=210079 fixes it. This is the cause of https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/40186#comment122495 Is it possible to backport http://gcc.gnu.org/viewcvs/gcc?view=revision&revision=210079 to our gcc package so we can test if it helps before more packages are affected? Thank you. |
