DetailsDescription:
In the file /usr/share/config/kdm/Xsession, the system xinitrc shell scripts are not executed, because the line . "$i" should be "$i" (no dot), as in: # run all system xinitrc shell scripts. if [ -d /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d ]; then for i in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/* ; do if [ -x "$i" ]; then "$i" fi done fi I don't know if this from upstream, I'm a beginner and don't know how to chekc. Additional info: * kdebase-workspace 4.11.8-2 * /usr/share/config/kdm/Xsession Steps to reproduce: put anything in the xinitrc.d directory, it won't be executed (some "dbus" thing is also in there, which might be important) |

The xinitrc shell scripts aren't executed, but sourced. This is intended behaviour.
