The latest auctex version behaves abnormally while trying to use forward-inverse search with emacs and evince or okular Additional info: I'm using Auctex 11.86-1 emacs 24.3-6 evince 3.12.1-1 and I have added the following lines in my .emacs file: (load "auctex.el" nil t t) (load "preview-latex.el" nil t t) (add-hook 'LaTeX-mode-hook 'TeX-source-correlate-mode) (setq TeX-source-correlate-start-server t) (setq TeX-PDF-mode t) Steps to reproduce: Add the previous lines in the .emacs file. Open a .tex file and run the Latex command from the toolbar. Then open the viewer. In the viewer window do Ctrl-Click-1 on a particular line: it should go on the same line in the source file, instead it opens a blank file with the same name of the source. |
