DetailsAfter latest upgrade to xorg modular (xkbdata replaced by xkeyboardconfig) I got strange shift in xkb layout names in xfce4-xkb-plugin:
US -> PC UA -> US RU -> UA Note that keyboard layouts are working, just their names in xfce4-xkb-plugin got shifted. I noted that there are some changes in /usr/share/X11/xkb after xkbdata->xkeyboard-config upgrade (fro example, symbolic link to xkbcomp was added in xkeyboard-config). Maybe this caused this problem. Or maybe xfce4-xkb-plugin needs to be patched. Can anyone with multiple xkb layouts try this with Gnome XkbSwitch or KxkbSwitch? |
This task depends upon
So then xfce4-xkb-plugin should be updated to work correctly with new xkeyboard-config and xorg-xkb-utils.
