Description: Does not build against Erlang 17, which has been the repo version since 4/10/2014.


Additional info:
* package version: 1.5.0-2
* configure log:
checking Erlang version compatibility... configure: error: The installed Erlang version must be >= R14B (erts-5.8.1) and <R17 (erts-5.11)


Steps to reproduce: Clean chroot, up to date packages.

Glad to see this was just filed. I have this problem as well.

I followed the installation steps from this page: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/COUCHDB/Debian

After running this line: "./configure --prefix=/usr/local --with-js-lib=/usr/lib --with-js-include=/usr/include/mozjs --enable-init"

I get the error: checking Erlang version compatibility... configure: error: The installed Erlang version must be >= R14B (erts-5.8.1) and <R17 (erts-5.11)

Very bummed. Been trying to install this for days and can't get anywhere.
