Trying to use the dvisvgm binary from extra/texlive-bin 2013.30973-9 and I'm getting the following

$ dvisvgm --version
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-version.c: 224: _dl_check_map_versions: Assertion `needed != ((void *)0)' failed!

Sorry, I don't remember the last time I used dvisvgm so I don't know when this started.

The package works fine so it seems related to a different issue on the system.

I also have this error with texlive-bin 2014.34260-1

The libreoffice extension texmaths uses dvisvgm to generate svg, and this extension return an error each time I try to generate an svg with it for approximately the last six months (less than a year for sure, more than three months). So this bug is most likely about six month old (I didn't bother to hunt the cause of this bug earlier so I can't be more precise about what version introduces it).

edit: I compiled dvisvgm from official site and I no longer have this issue (although texmaths svg equations are not visible in libreoffice but I think it is an unrelated issue).

A little googling show this is probably related to nvidia drivers. There have been a number of updates, does this still occur?
