Hello,

The latest vim-devel snapshot is 7.0200 whereas the package available is 7.0184. I have marked the package as out of date, but as there are no maintainers listed, i doubt whether the "notification" was sent or no. Also, as a side question, do unstable packages work seamlessly with -current, or i do i need to recompile from the pkgbuild of unstable ?

Thanks and regards,
Rohan.

I update it usually once in a while and don't wanna do it too much often. As you can see from here:
http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/editors/vim-devel/?cvsroot=Unstable
and from here if you do the math:
ftp://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/unstable/snapshot
the difference between these two versions is worth three weeks. And I mostly do the update of these packages monthwise.
On the other hand ... I better adopt these packages. So that people know whom to talk to.
Unstable usually means that thea are build from *-devel, beta, alpha source tarballs or even from cvs. But always against the packages in current and extra. So the should work well with them.
