Details
Description:
I downloaded the source for VLC, then I had to install some deps to be able to compile it. After restart, today I've deleted the package I made, cleaned the pacman cache and reinstalled VLC from official repo. Then I got segfault when trying to run vlc or the vlc-gen-cache. I've checked with dmesg and the segfault was in libc 2.19. Additional info: deps installed: [2014-04-17 02:34] [PACMAN] Running 'pacman -S xosd projectm libmtp libdvdcss' [2014-04-17 02:34] [PACMAN] installed xosd (2.2.14-7) [2014-04-17 02:34] [PACMAN] installed ftgl (2.1.3rc5-5) [2014-04-17 02:34] [PACMAN] installed projectm (2.1.0-8) [2014-04-17 02:34] [PACMAN] installed libmtp (1.1.6-6) [2014-04-17 02:34] [PACMAN] installed libdvdcss (1.2.13-3) [2014-04-17 02:35] [PACMAN] Running 'pacman -S gnome-vfs libgoom2 vcdimager' [2014-04-17 02:35] [PACMAN] installed gnome-vfs (2.24.4-8) [2014-04-17 02:35] [PACMAN] installed libgoom2 (2k4-2) [2014-04-17 02:35] [PACMAN] installed vcdimager (0.7.24-5) Steps to reproduce: Install VLC. Install deps for building VLC. vlc and vlc-gen-cache crash with segfault. Remove deps and it works. |

Should be fixed with glib2 from testing.
